Job Description
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated and dependable Driver Class B - Truck Driver who shares our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. As a key player in our operations team, you'll help us ensure safe and efficient disposal and transport of hazardous materials, contributing to our mission of creating safer, more sustainable environments. This role requires meticulous adherence to safety and environmental regulations, a strong sense of responsibility, and an unyielding commitment to ethics and compliance. Positioned within the Transportation & Logistics department, this position is pivotal in keeping our operations smooth and service uninterrupted. Responsibilities Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while operating a Class B vehicle. Perform daily inspections on the truck and equipment according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Load and unload materials, ensuring all waste is properly classified, segregated, and managed. Maintain logbooks and complete paperwork compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with the dispatch team to accomplish the assigned routes and schedules. Respond to customer inquiries and represent the company in a professional manner. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing protective equipment and participating in safety trainings. Required Skills Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate routes efficiently. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance in transportation. Ability to handle and manage hazardous materials. Good physical condition to manage manual loading and unloading. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Reliable and punctual with a dedicated professional demeanor.
