Job Description
We are seeking a driver to deliver our artisanal goat cheese and related products to various NYC markets every weekend. This position will require the employee to stay overnight in the city from Saturday to Sunday. Job responsibilities will include as follows: (Optional) Assist in loading the company truck on Friday evening Drive company truck to NYC, deliver to various markets (3-4 generally) Unload goods at markets and assist in setting up; likewise, assist in breaking down and reloading truck at the end of the day Drive company truck back to the farm, and optionally assist with unloading the truck on Sundays Depending on availability, you may also choose to work a few hours assisting at the market itself Required qualifications: A valid NY driver's license Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs Willingness to stay overnight in (company paid for) hotel in NYC Willingness to follow directions in order to ensure our goods, market items, and truck itself make it there and back undamaged
Pay:
