Job Description

SM Gallivan LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class B Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for delivering, exchanging, and removing roll-off containers used for construction debris, demolition waste, and other materials. The ideal candidate will safely transport containers to and from customer locations, disposal facilities, and recycling centers while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities Operate a Class B roll-off truck in a safe and professional manner. Deliver, pick up, exchange, and relocate roll-off containers at construction sites, commercial properties, and residential locations. Transport construction debris, demolition materials, and other approved waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections and complete required documentation. Secure containers and loads properly to ensure safe transportation. Maintain accurate driver logs, route sheets, inspection reports, and disposal tickets. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel regarding delivery and pickup schedules. Navigate construction sites and job locations safely while adhering to company safety standards. Monitor truck performance and promptly report maintenance issues or safety concerns. Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations. Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions. Assist with route planning and scheduling adjustments as needed. Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times. QualificationsRequired Valid CDL Class B driver's license. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card). Clean driving record with the ability to meet insurance requirements. Minimum 3 year of commercial driving experience required. Ability to safely operate roll-off equipment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Ability to enter and exit the truck multiple times throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and perform routine vehicle inspections.
