Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck/Roll-Off Driver with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty trucks including dump trucks and or roll-off trucks hauling construction materials or aggragates efficiently and safely. Jobs offers overtime, paid holidays, PTO, insurance and 401K. Duties Safely operate various types of commercial trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation regulations Load, unload, and transport construction materials or aggragaes to the appropraite job sites or disposal facilities Ensure adherence to hazardous materials regulations when handling special waste streams Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and mechanical condition, including air brake systems and other safety features Follow traffic laws diligently while maintaining timely route driving schedules for municipal or commercial waste collection Maintain accurate logs of routes driven, loads transported, inspections performed, and incidents reported in compliance with safety protocols Requirements Valid CDL Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and state transportation rules governing commercial truck driving Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting of truck systems including hydraulic lifts, air brakes, manual transmissions, and load securing mechanisms Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence during outdoor work in varying weather conditions Excellent driving skills with defensive driving techniques to ensure safety for all road users and personnel Customer service orientation with clear communication skills for interacting professionally with clients during service calls Must be able to pass drug tests before employment and randoms during employment.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 60.0 per week
