Job Overview ShurGreen Farms, LLC., is looking to hire a local driver. You would be responsible for safely and promptly picking up and delivering goods. Since this is a local position, you would be home daily. The best candidates are located within a 15-mile radius of our Ansonia location. Flexible compensation options Home daily Local daily route Family-owned and operated Qualifications CDL certification Must be able to work and drive in all-weather conditions English language skills to communicate clearly and effectively - Spanish is a plus One (1) year of experience is not required but appreciated High school or equivalent (preferred) Responsibilities Perform any duties as directed by the supervisor Accurately perform a pre-trip inspection that includes tires, fuel, oil, etc. Physically fit to perform duties as assigned Report road incidents and mechanical issues to the dispatcher/operations Follow traffic laws Follow the company accident and reporting procedures Have flexibility for start times, sending time, and scheduling Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers Ability to pass a DOT drug test Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business needs Position Full-time, five days a week, and available in emergencies Year-round work at 40 hours per week on average, with options to work additional hours Home daily Solo driving Compensation $60,000 to $80,000 annually based on experience Benefits Company provided health insurance One week PTO to start Matching 401(K) Holiday pay available
