In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time to our valued customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving. Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods. Deliver products promptly and accurately to customer locations, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation for each shipment. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure the truck is in optimal condition. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred but not mandatory. Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely and efficiently. Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
