ABOUT THE ROLE

The Transportation Driver provides transportation of products between PTS Corp. cultivation and production facilities, as well as customer dispensaries and vendor locations. This position provides superior customer service to PTS customers and vendors, ensures accuracy of orders and timeliness of deliveries and completes deliveries in accordance with state standards set by PTS. The Transportation Driver operates under the General Manager through policies and procedures established by PTS and regulations of state and local governing bodies and contributes to the implementation of new or changing policies and procedures. The Transportation Driver strictly adheres to all traffic laws and represents PTS as a courteous and safe driver.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Safely transports all products to and from all PTS locations.

Ensures timeliness and accuracy of deliveries through verification of all items received and delivered. Strictly adheres to policies and procedures, as well as all traffic laws, and represents PTS as a courteous and safe driver.

Attends all required training sessions regarding security, customer relations, and other topics critical to his or her employment.

Maintains a polite and professional attitude while delivering products to and from all PTS locations, vendors, and customer dispensaries.

Maintains communications with all PTS vendors and customer dispensaries by relaying any questions, comments, or concerns to the appropriate PTS staff member.

Responds to order discrepancies by contacting the appropriate PTS staff member or vendor and arranging a solution.

Maintains accurate records of all transportation activities in accordance with the state and standards set by PTS. Creates schedule based on the day's safest route.

Ensures accurate documentation of all deliveries, transfers, and returns between PTS locations, vendor locations, and customer dispensaries in accordance with the state and standards set by PTS.Manages the live communication process when making deliveries. Notifies the Security & Transportation Manager or police immediately in an emergency.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting and operating a vehicle.

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Prolonged periods of hand use.

Must be physically able to climb ladders or scaffolding, bend, kneel, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

MUST HAVES

Education and Experience:

To remain compliant with state law, you must be 21 years of age or older.

Must have a valid Driver's License.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two years of experience providing excellent pickup and delivery service.

Skills/Abilities:

Knack for performing under pressure, is flexible and adaptable.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn software.

Familiarity with using navigation systems.

REWARDS:

Starting rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.
