In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently recovering, towing, and transporting vehicles, including cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles. Responsibilities Operate flatbed tow trucks and recovery vehicles to safely load, unload, and transport vehicles following cargo securement protocols Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to facilitate vehicle recovery when needed Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions during recovery or roadside assistance Safely load vehicles onto tow trucks using proper manual techniques and mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Manage vehicle recovery towing operations, including accident scenes or breakdowns, ensuring compliance with safety standards Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and ensuring their satisfaction during stressful situations Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads & unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping and reporting purposes Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs Proven ability in commercial truck driving with valid licenses for heavy-duty vehicles and flatbed tow trucks Skilled in cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly Knowledge of manual transmissions and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques Ability to operate tow trucks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for vehicle recovery towing Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving under pressure

REQUIREMENTS FOR TOW TRUCK DRIVER

• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to operate under pressure
• Position is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions Mandatory
• Clean Driving Record

AND A VALID STATE ISSUED DRIVER'S LICENSE
