Job Description

Are you a hard working team player looking for the ability to use your experience as a custodian and driver in a new role with a local family-owned company? Dunham Products, Inc. is currently seeking an Custodian/Delivery Driver to join our team.
Position Description:
As the custodian and delivery driver for our plant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment using a rotating cleaning schedule, as well as delivering or picking up parts or supplies from vendors and customers, locally. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (hours may vary with additional time required as business requires). The custodian/delivery driver will report directly to the Plant Manager. Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain clean and safe work environment both on the shop floor and the front office by utilizing a rotating cleaning schedule Pick up and deliver parts or supplies, as required, to vendors and/or customers using company supplied box truck The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Perform basic maintenance, such as monitoring coolant levels on CNC machines and replacing CNC scrap cans Monitor cleaning supply levels and report needs to Office Manager or vendor(s) for replenishment Observe all safety and health regulations Follow housekeeping procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly work area Perform other company related duties as required
Qualifications:
Proficient at using basic janitorial equipment including, but not limited to, mops, floor scrubbers (both walk behind and ride-on), etc. Experience cleaning a manufacturing facility and knowing proper usage for cleaning solutions Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during the scheduled work day Ability to drive a box truck A clean driving record
