Transportation Driver Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8hr Shifts | $20.00/hour |
CPR Cert Required Job Summary:
Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Driver to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a crucial member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients and staff to and from appointments, programs, and activities within and outside our facility. Responsibilities:
Safely operate company-owned vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations Transport patients and staff to and from appointments, programs, and activities in a timely and courteous manner Maintain accurate records of transportation requests, pickups, and drop-offs Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to identify and address patient transportation needs Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and respect Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the supervisor Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and maintaining a professional attitude
Requirements:
Must be CPR Certified High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and/or medical equipment (up to 50 pounds) as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently Reliable transportation and a good driving record
