Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, and dump trucks, ensuring that loads are properly secured and delivered on time. Duties Transport freight using various types of trucks. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Keep a log of equipment and do routine maintenance of trucks and equipment. Operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when required. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with freight handling procedures and load securing techniques. Ability to operate various types of trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, and manual transmission vehicles. Experience with loading and unloading cargo using forklifts or other equipment is preferred. Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
