Salary plus Mileage Pay Job Summary Offshore Energy Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Weatherford, OK. This role is responsible for transporting heavy casing tools, hydraulic power tongs, diesel power units, and mechanical/hydraulic Casing Running Tools (CRTs) directly to active drilling rigs and oilfield locations. Because drilling operations run around the clock, this position requires working a rotating shift of day and night schedules while remaining on call for hotshot and rig deliveries. In addition to driving, you will actively assist with loading, unloading, securing heavy cargo, and performing essential yard logistics when not on the road.

Essential Roles & ResponsibilitiesTransport & Rig-Site Delivery Safe Transport:

Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles to safely haul oilfield equipment across regional public roads and rugged lease roads.

Rig Logistics:

Navigate demanding oilfield terrains and safely position trucks on active rig locations for equipment drop-offs and pickups.

Time Sensitivity:

Maintain strict adherence to dispatch schedules to ensure casing equipment arrives before scheduled rig operations, regardless of shift timing.

Load Securement & Yard Logistics Cargo Securement:

Properly chain, strap, and secure heavy steel tubulars, skid-mounted tool baskets, and high-value machinery in compliance with DOT regulations.

Material Handling:

Assist shop hands and cranes with loading and unloading flatbeds, hotshots, and transport trailers.

Equipment Verification:

Double-check outbound loads against computerized load-out sheets to guarantee all required items match customer specifications.

Compliance, Safety & Maintenance DOT Regulations:

Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs, records of duty status, and post-trip/pre-trip vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).

Safety Culture:

Adhere strictly to OES safety policies, operator safety standards, and rig-site PPE rules (FR clothing, steel toes, safety glasses).

Performance Monitoring:

Acknowledge and comply with in-cab telemetry and fleet monitoring systems (e.g., speed tracking, harsh braking alerts, and camera systems) used to maintain premium safety standards.

Vehicle Care:

Perform basic preventative maintenance checks, fluid top-offs, and report mechanical defects immediately to management.

Job Requirements Experience:

3+ years of commercial driving experience is strictly required. Oilfield hauling, flatbed loading, or heavy equipment transport is strongly preferred.

Licensure:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Location:

Must reside within a 1-hour driving radius of the Weatherford, OK facility.

Medical Fitness:

Must successfully pass a pre-employment DOT physical exam and maintain an active Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Compliance:

Valid secondary form of identification.

Legal Status:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Apparel:

Must possess personal safety-toe boots and FR-rated clothing (Offshore Energy Services provides company coveralls).

Physical & Environmental Demands Screening:

Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) screening, and DOT urinalysis drug/alcohol testing.

Lifting:

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds when handling heavy transport chains, binders, and tools.

Mobility:

Ability to climb on and off flatbed trailers, stoop, kneel, and endure long periods of driving.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to diverse outdoor weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, wind) and high-noise industrial rig sites during both day and night shifts.
