Job Description
As rural delivery needs grow we're getting more and more packages in the Alsea area on Highway 34 from East 5 Rivers to Mary's Peak Road (about 28 miles max). It is at most 2 to 3 hours of work per day and would pay $60 minimum plus a fuel / mileage allowance and a tax deduction for miles ran. Some days might only be an hour. We would like meet at approximately 10am but you could coordinate with our driver at any time if you wanted to meet later. The packages just need to be delivered by 8pm. Depending on where you live in the area we could bring them to your house or meet you at one of the parks. During peak season from Black Friday to New Years it would be closer to 3 hours per day. Some people do tip their driver during the holidays. FedEx has a process where we can get "alternative delivery vehicles" (your vehicle) approved for delivery. It has to have a temporary camera installed but that is very simple. The driver approval process involves a drug test, background check and safety training. We are the FedEx franchise / contract holder for the area and are based out of Lincoln City.
