Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and goods to and from various locations. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation of materials.Duties:
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as sand, gravel, dirt, or rocks
- Load and unload materials
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating the dump truck
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
