Schedule is Monday - Friday Start time is 5:30 AM and goes until the route is completed. Starting wage is $36.00/

YES Key Responsibilities :
Operate a tractor-trailer on a dedicated local route using manual transmission equipment to haul waste to Wasco Landfill Opportunity to receive training on Roll-Off manual transmission trucks Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires Physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Working Conditions :
Climb in and out of the truck cab up to 40+ times per day Work in all outdoor weather conditions, including wet and humid environments, with exposure to fumes and vibrations Moderate noise level Adhere to all safety protocols to mitigate physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts
Minimum Requirements :
A minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience is required, including mandatory experience with manual transmissions and 53' trailers. High School Diploma or GED Stable work history (at least 2 years in most recent position) Excellent customer service and communication skills Clean driving record and compliance with DOT regulations (49 CFR 383.51) Ability to handle the physical demands of the job Basic knowledge of truck components for pre- and post-trip inspections To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.wasteconnections.com .
