Office setting within a warehouse About the Company This organization is a well-established logistics and warehouse services provider supporting high-volume distribution operations. Position Overview This role serves as the main point of contact for drivers arriving at the warehouse. You'll coordinate check-ins, assign dock doors, manage scheduling, and ensure accurate documentation while communicating with both drivers and warehouse staff throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Check in drivers and verify arrival details Provide directions to the facility and assign parking/bay locations Answer incoming calls and communicate clearly with drivers Update internal systems with completed orders and delivery details Coordinate with warehouse team on work orders and driver flow Schedule appointments and deliveries (warehouse + client locations) Perform front desk duties including greeting and assisting visitors Maintain accurate records and documentation Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications Experience in clerical, data entry, or administrative roles Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask across systems (inventory tools, email, phone) Experience with scheduling, data tracking, or coordination Comfortable communicating with drivers in a direct, professional manner Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Nice to Have Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory environment Front desk or receptionist experience Familiarity with inventory or tracking systems Work Environment Located in a cold storage warehouse , but this role is based in the office area (warm section) Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with drivers and warehouse staff Heavy use of phone, computer systems, and scheduling tools Benefits (Upon Eligibility) 401(k) with up to 3% company match Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Life insurance, disability coverage, and additional supplemental benefits Opportunities for career advancement locally and nationally Additional Requirements BG (7-year) Drug screening (4-panel UA) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
