Job Summary:

We are seeking a (temporary) Concrete Truck Driver to start immediately and assist with the Fall workload! The ideal candidate will have experience as a Driver, possess a Commercial Driving License, and be familiar with various types of trucks and how they operate. Workday hours vary and depend on the jobs scheduled each day (Mon-Fri.).

Duties:

• Transport our ready mix product over short or long distances in a safe, timely manner
• Unload concrete mix in proper communication with our clients
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Maintain clean trucks through proper washout, chipping, and applying cement removal products
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies
• Assist with any other tasks regarding the screen plant, minor equipment repairs, maintaining supplies, and moving/hauling sand or gravel

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Concrete Truck Driver
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.

)

Required:

• Commercial Driving License (CDL) ~ Class A preferred
• Background Check
• Drug Test upon hire

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Concrete Mixer Trucks
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver
• Experience as a Mechanic a plus!
• Experience operating a Snow plow truck a plus Additional information:
• Hours of operation will vary and depend on quantity of work scheduled on any given day
• Temporary or Permanent Part time available now
• Part time in Winter (snow plow and/or concrete deliveries)
• Continuation of employment into next Spring/Summer for part or full time is available
