Job Description

Resident Driver:
$23-25/hr Juniper Canyon Living is looking for compassionate, hard-working and talented people to join our team! Juniper Canyon Living is a 108-unit special contract residential care facility campus designed and staffed uniquely for residents who have failed placement elsewhere due to complex behaviors and/or medical needs. We are in need of a Resident Driver to maintain a weekly resident appointment calendar and accompany residents to medical and personal appointments. The ideal candidate has a positive outlook and a patient demeanor. The Resident Driver will be interacting with a wide variety of residents, providing support at appointments and communicating vital medical information between the facility and outside medical professionals. Our Resident Driver is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. Minimum Qualifications:
Must demonstrate competency in the following areas: Pass a state criminal background check. Read, write, speak and understand the English language. Freedom from illegal use of drugs. Freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in the position. Demonstrates effective time management skills. Must be 21 years of age. Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of elderly and their needs and the competency to meet those needs on a consistent basis. Able to communicate ideas well. Able to question and listen to residents and coworkers for the purpose of gaining understanding. Able to represent and promote activities and programs as a member of our team. Able to organize and manage both information and time effectively. Sufficient literary skills to read care plans and other procedures and to complete required reports. CPR and First Aid certification or successfully achieved within 30 days of employment. #CRHNW2

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
