Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, on assigned routes while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations Load and unload freight manually or with appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and hazardous materials when applicable Transport automobile parts or other specialized cargo with precision, maintaining the integrity of the load during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for hazardous materials compliance and truck loading/unloading accuracy Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery schedules, or unforeseen issues such as traffic or mechanical problems Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Demonstrated expertise in driving manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazardous materials carriers Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling procedures Experience with route driving, delivery driving, and freight logistics cargo handling Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to manually handle cargo safely during loading/unloading processes while following safety protocols Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to driver hours of service and vehicle maintenance requirements Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver to enjoy a rewarding career where your skills drive success!
