Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport fuel and other hazardous materials, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strict safety standards. This role requires a valid Class B license, a Hazmat endorsement with at least two years of experience, and knowledge of fuel dropping procedures. The CDL Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles with a Class B license to transport fuel and hazardous materials to various locations. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to company policies and safety protocols. Handle hazardous materials in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, including proper documentation and safety procedures. Maintain a valid Hazmat endorsement with at least two years of experience in handling hazardous materials. Demonstrate knowledge of fuel dropping techniques to ensure efficient and safe transfer of fuel at delivery points. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel logs, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes. Follow all safety guidelines related to hazardous material transportation to prevent accidents or spills. Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and report any maintenance needs promptly. Requirements Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Hazmat endorsement with at least two years of experience handling hazardous materials. Knowledge of fuel dropping procedures and related safety protocols. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past few years. Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely under various conditions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate recordkeeping. Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Physical ability to load/unload fuel or related materials as needed.
