Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and delivery vehicles.
• Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Use pallet jack or tow motor to move product.
• Use scanning equipment to scan products into inventory.
• Ensure the cooler and freezer areas of the trailer are at appropriate temperatures prior to products being loaded.
• Hook tractors with assigned trailers.
• Check fuel on tractors and trailers and fill them when need
• Maintain daily activity log to reflect positioning, fueling, repairs, etc.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving or related field.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment and handling various types of freight.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating different locations.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo and perform repetitive tasks.
