Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service. Duties Operate commercial motor vehicles hauling flatbed trailers. Plan and follow designated routes for timely delivery of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations. Skills Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways. Ability to handle freight loading and unloading tasks safely. Familiarity with flatbed trailer operations is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting on the road. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
