Position Summary:

The Pile Driver Operator is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of driving piles to provide support for solar arrays and/or panels using Vermeer PD-10 pile driving or other leading piling machines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures. Adhere to all company safety and health policies. Clearly communicate with spotters. Review project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to code, design and specification. Drive piles to provide support for solar arrays/panels. Operate all equipment in a safe manner and efficient working practices. Maintain tools and equipment; perform safety checks. Assist the Foreman in the installation of various pile types, fueling, maintenance, and greasing of pile equipment. Clean equipment as required. Prepare and clean up job site. Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative work style and commitment to complete the job. Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
