Job Description
Clean Harbors seeks a CDL Equipment Driver to safely transport equipment and materials to customer sites supporting environmental and industrial service projects. Responsibilities include operating CDL vehicles, loading and securing equipment, performing inspections, and completing required documentation. You will follow strict safety and environmental procedures, assist field crews with setup and operation of equipment, and communicate with dispatch to meet schedules. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicles to transport equipment and materials to and from customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities Load, secure, and unload equipment following DOT and company safety standards Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment Complete required logs, manifests, and documentation accurately and on time Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors to meet daily schedules and customer needs Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures, including PPE and spill-response protocols Assist field crews with setup and operation of equipment as needed Report equipment issues, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment Represent Clean Harbors professionally with customers and the public Required Skills CDL Class A or B driving DOT regulations compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Load securement and material handling Hazardous materials awareness Defensive driving Logbooks and manifest documentation Use of GPS and dispatch systems Spill and emergency response support PPE and safety protocol adherence
