Job Description

PODS is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you'll operate CDL vehicles to deliver, pick up, and relocate portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll perform thorough vehicle inspections, secure loads, navigate local routes, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. As the face of PODS in the field, you'll provide friendly, solution-oriented service while coordinating with dispatch to keep schedules on track. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicles to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers for residential and commercial customers. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations. Secure containers and loads properly, operating liftgates and material-handling equipment as needed. Provide professional, customer-first service on-site, addressing questions and resolving basic issues. Accurately complete logs, delivery documentation, and use handheld/dispatch systems. Communicate with dispatch and teammates to adjust routes, manage schedules, and solve field issues. Maintain clean, well-organized vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly.
