Position Summary LYNC Transportation Services is seeking a dependable, flexible professional to provide standby transportation coverage and day-to-day operational support. This position helps maintain service continuity by covering transportation assignments as needed and supporting dispatch, routing, fleet, scheduling, and other operational functions when not driving. Schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 5:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., with flexibility as needed based on operational requirements. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Safely transport students or passengers on assigned routes. Respond to call-outs and provide route coverage as needed. Communicate with drivers and support morning transportation operations. Assist with route coordination, changes, and service updates. Provide support as a transportation attendant when needed. Support passenger safety and required transportation procedures. During non-driving time, support dispatch, communications, and administrative tasks to help maintain efficient operations. Use Company-issued technology to monitor dispatch boards, trip updates, routing information, and communications in real time. Perform other transportation and operations support duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be at least 25 years of age. Valid driver's license. Minimum three (3) years of licensed driving experience. Satisfactory driving record meeting Company and insurance requirements. Reliable transportation to and from the assigned reporting location. Proficiency in verbal and written English communication. Ability to safely operate Company passenger vans and adapt to changing assignments. Ability to learn and effectively use Company-issued technology and electronic systems. Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in transportation operations, dispatch, routing, scheduling, fleet coordination, or passenger transportation. Conditions of Employment Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion and verification of all applicable pre-employment requirements, including: Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance FBI Criminal History Background Check Act 168 Employment History Review Valid Pennsylvania Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training Certificate Tuberculosis (TB) Screening dated within the past three (3) months Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting Company and insurance requirements Drug and Alcohol Screening Physical Requirements Ability to safely operate passenger vans for extended periods. Ability to enter and exit Company vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday. Ability to perform vehicle inspections and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
