Job Description
We are looking for a switcher/spotter Non-CDL truck •Responsible for conducting accurate and timely Yard Reports Safe and responsible moving of trailers and other equipment around the yard and properly placed in dock doors for Loading/Unloading. Must be willing and able to learn and utilize the COLT system. Good communication skills with Shipping and Receiving Clerks, Supervisors and truck drivers. Directing drivers in entering/exiting the yard safely and proper placement of dropped trailers in specific yards. Responsible for cleaning and sustaining clean docks outside and the yard perimeter. Strong attention to detail and must be able to work independently with minimal Supervision. Must be dependable and willing to work overtime as needed. Perform daily pre-shift inspection and service of yard truck checking all fluid levels, cleaning yard truck inside and out NO CDL required but must have prior experience and a valid driver's license.
