Building Materials Job Description Suncoast Drivers is hiring an experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver in Hardeeville, SC to deliver building materials to customer and construction job sites. This is a Monday-Friday position with a typical start time of 7:00 AM and 8-10 hour shifts. The driver will operate an automatic day cab with a flatbed trailer , making approximately 1-5 deliveries per route within a 150-mile radius . Responsibilities include safely transporting building materials and other products to customer job sites, loading inventory onto the truck, and unloading materials at the delivery location. The driver must follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and proper loading and transportation practices while operating the vehicle. Deliveries may require working directly with customers and navigating construction/job-site environments. Responsibilities Operate a CDL Class A day cab with flatbed trailer. Make deliveries to customer and construction job sites. Load building materials and inventory onto the truck. Unload materials at customer locations. Pick up and transport products, supplies, and equipment between company, supplier, and customer locations. Complete approximately 1-5 stops per route. Drive within an approximately 150-mile radius of Hardeeville, SC. Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety procedures. Perform proper inspections and ensure cargo is safely secured for transportation. Provide professional customer service at delivery locations. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license required. Previous commercial driving and delivery experience preferred. Experience delivering building materials or similar products is a plus. Ability to safely load and unload materials. Ability to operate a flatbed trailer. Must be comfortable making deliveries to construction and customer job sites. Must be able to follow DOT regulations and all company safety procedures.
