Job Description

Master Steel LLC, a steel fabricator and erector located in Hardeeville, SC, is ac tively seeking an experienced Licensed CDL (Class A) Truck Driver to join our team. This position is open to applicants with proven experience in a similar position, preferably in the constructi on or steel fabrication industry. Safely operate and drive a commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and receipts. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and delivery. Collaborate with warehouse, loading, and installation personnel to ensure efficient and accurate loading of goods onto the vehicle. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on the vehicle as needed or report any issues promptly to the manager responsible for maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) - Class A -- with appropriate endorsements. Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents. Demonstrated experience in operating commercial vehicles, with a strong emphasis on safety. Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and compliance standards. Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules and routes.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 40 pounds, as required for loading and unloading. Stamina and physical endurance to perform driving duties for extended periods of time. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating vehicle controls and handling cargo.
