Job Description Lollicup® USA, Inc., headquartered in Chino, CA, is the manufacturer of Karat® food disposable goods and TeaZone® beverage products, the distributor of other leading brands' coffee & tea ingredients, & specializes in in in custom print and innovative packaging. We have been recognized for our thermoforming plastic capabilities in North America to produce cups and food packaging products that allow us to offer competitive pricing throughout our distribution network (currently 6 regional warehouses are located in
CA, HI, NJ, SC, TX, WA
), and services to chain accounts such as Panda Express, Flame Broiler, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and more. We are looking for skilled Drivers that can function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently. The primary responsibility of the Driver is to meet our customer's needs by delivering and picking up containers in a timely, safe and courteous manner. The Driver is permitted to operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("port container chassis"). Responsible for transporting goods from one place to another using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks. We seek highly motivated and experienced Drivers with a background in distribution and or ports. Job Responsibilities Include - Safely transport containers to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections. Follow all Lollicup Operational Procedures / Standards Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Maintain the service and appearance of truck. Minimum Requirements Must hold a valid TEXAS Commercial Class-A Driver's License Must have a driving record in Good Standing. To be in Good Standing Driver must present a current DMV printout report with none of the violations below: Any major violations (DWI, homicide, reckless driving, drugs, leaving the scene) within the last three years. Two or more other moving violations and one at fault accident in the last three years. Three or more other moving violations in the last three years. Two or more at fault accidents in the last three years with no moving violations . Drivers will not be qualified for this position if they meet or exceed any of the four guidelines at any time during employment. Previous CDL Driving experience Positive attitude Excellent verbal communication Professional appearance Ability to read maps efficiently. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service orientation. Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. An ability to function well as part of a team. Diligent attention to detail Diligent attention to safety
Compensation:
Up to $26 per hour
