Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for Warehouse/Delivery Driver positions with our client in the Charleston, SC area. The Warehouse/Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering materials to job sites and customer locations via truck and trailer. This role also involves general warehouse duties, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial job sites. Load and unload products with care to prevent damage. Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site. Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, and stocking inventory. Maintain delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and paperwork. Ensure trucks and warehouse equipment are in safe working condition. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a truck and tow up to a 20' trailer. Previous experience in warehouse, delivery, or material handling preferred. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and handle large, bulky items safely. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

Combination of warehouse environment and on-the-road deliveries. Regular lifting, carrying, and handling of heavy materials. Exposure to varying weather conditions while loading/unloading deliveries.
