Responsibilities:
- Tractor Trailer hauling mostly Reinforcing bar.
- Transport freight and goods to main cities in TX.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as tanker trucks or refrigerated trailers, 53' flatbeds plus overhang.
- Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDLA) with the appropriate endorsements.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps.
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
