Job description

Responsibilities:

• Tractor Trailer hauling mostly Reinforcing bar.
• Transport freight and goods to main cities in TX.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, such as tanker trucks or refrigerated trailers, 53' flatbeds plus overhang.
• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDLA) with the appropriate endorsements.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps.
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
