Role:
As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and services to various destinations. Your primary responsibility will be to operate vehicles in compliance with all applicable regulations, including DOT regulations, while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency. You will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and address any issues that may arise during transit. Your reliability and punctuality will be essential in meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining customer satisfaction. Ultimately, your performance will directly impact the overall success of our operation and the satisfaction of our clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a driver in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with transportation management systems. Knowledge of local and regional routes.
Responsibilities:
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
