The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently along designated routes while providing reliable and timely deliveries. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compliance with all applicable transportation regulations . The successful candidate should have excellent driving skills and experience operating a flatbed 18-wheeler truck .
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a flatbed 18-wheeler truck to transport goods. Secure and inspect loads to ensure safe transportation. Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe and dependable service.
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Experience operating a flatbed 18-wheeler preferred. Clean driving record. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Ability to safely secure and transport various types of loads. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with flatbed trucks. Proficient in route driving with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
