Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL-A road experience within the previous 5 years . Intermodal driving experience preferred. No chargeable accidents within the previous 36 months. Clean and safe driving record. Ability to successfully complete required background screening. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card . Ability to successfully complete a DOT drug test and physical . Ability to provide coverage across Houston, Baytown, and surrounding local freight areas . Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transportation and terminal environment. Responsabilidades:
As a CDL-A Company Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of freight throughout our local service areas.
Key responsibilities include:
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies. Transport freight throughout Houston, Baytown, and surrounding local freight areas . Complete local pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Properly document and maintain required ELD and transportation records. Communicate professionally with dispatch, terminal personnel, customers, and other members of the transportation team. Report equipment concerns, delays, accidents, or safety issues promptly. Maintain a strong commitment to safe driving practices and regulatory compliance. Support terminal transportation needs as freight volumes and business requirements change.
