In person Job Description 4HR Trucking & Land Services is seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The candidate will operate belly dump and tandem/bobtail dump trucks to safely and efficiently transport aggregate materials on local routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, proper vehicle inspections, DOT compliance, and professional customer service. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of commercial driving experience, takes pride in maintaining well-maintained equipment, and consistently follows safe operating practices. Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles, including belly dump and tandem/bobtail dump trucks. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe, properly maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations. Identify and report equipment issues promptly to help prevent service or compliance violations. Transport aggregate materials safely across designated local routes. Follow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies. Communicate effectively regarding schedules, delays, route changes, and operational issues. Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers, job-site personnel, coworkers, and management. Maintain a safe driving record and demonstrate responsible operation of company equipment. Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with no restrictions. Minimum 4 years of commercial driving experience . Previous experience operating belly dump and tandem/bobtail dump trucks. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) strongly preferred ; candidates with minor violations may be considered with an explanation. Demonstrated history of completing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and DOT compliance. Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements. Must be able to provide a copy of a valid CDL license upon request. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
