Food Service Distribution Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, safety-driven Regional Freight Logistics Specialist to handle our over-the-road (OTR) and long-haul transport operations. You will be responsible for transporting commercial freight across designated regional lanes, maintaining strict adherence to DOT hours of service, and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. We value our drivers' hard work out on the road: all drivers receive a structured performance review and a guaranteed wage increase after your first 6 months with the company. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial transport equipment safely across long-haul and regional OTR routes. Plan and manage trip schedules to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of commercial freight. Complete thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics coordinators regarding transit updates. What We Require (Qualifications) Valid CDL Class A license (Required). Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR or regional commercial driving experience. Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and stable work history. Current DOT medical card and ability to pass standard drug screenings. Comfortable with extended time away and long-haul scheduling.
Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:
Competitive mileage or percentage-based compensation.
