The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving capacities, including commercial driving, shuttle driving, and delivery services. This role requires strong communication skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods and passengers. Duties Operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually as needed. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries or passenger transport. Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Assist in moving heavy equipment or freight as required. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields such as delivery driver experience or shuttle driving. Familiarity with various vehicle types including dump trucks, tow trucks, paratransit vehicles, and heavy haul equipment is preferred. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment or working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
