Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Driver working the night shift, where your expertise in commercial truck driving will keep our logistics moving smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, while delivering freight across regional or over-the-road (OTR) routes. Your dedication to safety, adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and commitment to excellent service will drive our success. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, on scheduled routes during night shifts. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods. Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques and proper cargo securing methods aligned with logistics cargo handling standards. Navigate accurately using GPS systems to reach delivery destinations on time while adhering to route driving protocols. Deliver freight to various locations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with FMCSA regulations for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered during shifts. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and hazardous materials handling when applicable. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely. Skilled in truck loading/unloading procedures, including freight handling and securing cargo for safe transport. Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA regulations, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service during delivery driving tasks. Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 70.0 per week
