Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tow Truck Driver with a valid TDLR license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing and transporting vehicles, ensuring timely service, and maintaining professionalism on the job. CDL license is a plus, but not mandatory. Must be able to pass a drug test. This role requires a dedicated individual who can work scheduled hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturdays could be worked if you want but would be paid on a commission basis. Duties Operate tow trucks efficiently to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles in various conditions. Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls during scheduled hours and on-call shifts. Ensure all towing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of all jobs performed, including details of vehicle condition and location. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate services effectively. Manage on-call responsibilities during weekends or after-hours as assigned, including handling emergency situations with professionalism and urgency. Requirements Valid TDLR Tow Truck Driver license is required; Valid CDL license is considered a plus. Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles preferred. Ability to work scheduled hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday availability on a commission basis and on-call shifts. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to towing operations and vehicle handling. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during roadside assistance situations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
