The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Pay Rate:
$25 an hour, OT pay after 40 hours/week-AVERAGE 50+Paid:
Weekly Direct Deposit Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Night Shift Must have experience with Pneumatic Tankers Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Must be able to drive a 10-Speed Must be willing to operate a forklift when not driving the Semi Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transport. Assist with freight handling as necessary, ensuring proper securing of loads. Requirements CDL A License Experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required. Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently and safely. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
