CDL Shuttle Driver Frontier Logistics, LP - 5.0 La Porte, TX Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Automobile transportation Yard jockey Container Shuttle driving Truck delivery (delivery method) Full Job Description General Duties and Responsibilities Follow all company safety procedures and requirements while operating vehicles, transporting materials, and performing assigned duties. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles, trailers, safety equipment, and emergency equipment are in proper working condition. Review load-related documentation to ensure all information is complete and accurate. Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver materials and equipment as assigned. Immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage, or other safety concerns. Couple and uncouple trailers, including adjusting trailer jacks, connecting, and disconnecting air and electrical lines, and operating fifth-wheel locks. Inspect trucks and trailers following deliveries and report any damage or mechanical concerns. Provide operational support to Seabulk and rail activities as needed, including moving and staging containers to and from the Seabulk line, scale, and liner area. Inspect containers and verify container numbers prior to staging or movement. Ensure the correct containers are staged and available ahead of loading to minimize operational downtime. Assist with railcar movement, connections, and disconnections as needed. Assist with connecting and securing hoses, installing filters, positioning catch pans and jack stands, and starting blowers. Maintain trucks, equipment, and assigned work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition throughout the shift. Perform other operational duties as assigned based on business needs. Mission Critical Outcomes Maintain less than 5% downtime related to container availability or staging. Maintain 98% attendance , excluding approved and scheduled PTO. Maintain one or fewer minor damage incidents per quarter , including damage to hoses, dolly legs, trailers, containers, or other equipment. Maintain zero preventable safety incidents . Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of vehicle, equipment, and operational issues.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
