Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials using a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack or forklift or other heavy equipment
- Safely navigate and follow designated routes for efficient delivery
- Ensure all materials are securely fastened and properly loaded onto the truck
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with roll-off or dump truck experience
- Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of materials and long hours on the road
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
