Job Description
Overview Roll off truck part time driver and possiable fulltime. Duties Roll off Truck and other duties transporting equipement when not hauling Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure accurate and timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Load and unload freight safely, handling logistics cargo with manual handling techniques and ensuring proper securing of hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable. Manage the transportation of automobile parts or vehicles via automobile transportation methods, ensuring proper load & unload procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports while adhering to truck loading/unloading protocols. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform manual transmission driving tasks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance. Follow all safety procedures related to truck driving, including hazard awareness and emergency response protocols. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight delivery, route driving, or logistics cargo handling. Prior experience operating Roll off Valid commercial driver's license Class C or a CDL even a class B can work Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform truck loading/unloading tasks efficiently. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for over-the-road (OTR) routes. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance in line with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
