Montgomery Little Bears is hiring a chef to prepare breakfast and lunch for 120+ students daily. In addition , a kitchen manager plans weekly menus, takes inventory of disposable supplies, places grocery order online, picks up groceries at curb side or goes grocery shopping, washes and sanitizes dishes, disinfects and cleans the kitchen and attends and participates in school functions such as Mother's Day, Thanksgiving lunch, pictures with Santa, training, etc.Qualifications:
- Must have at least a
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED.
- Must meet basic requirements of the Department of Family and Protective Services Licensing Division and
PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
- Must be manager serve safe certified or receive it within 30 days of employment.
- Previous kitchen experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred but not required.
- At least 1 year of catering experience required.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Breakfast starts at 8:00am and lunch at 1st school is 11:30am and lunch at second school is 12:30.
