POSITION

Hiring a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver. Great Work Environment; Great Work Hours (Monday-Friday, some Saturdays & home at night); Well Maintained Fleet; Competitive Pay and Benefits.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for making deliveries, performing pre/post trip inspection, safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, report to work when scheduled and on time, follow instructions given by leaders upon request and be a team player. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, follow signals from loading crew and check that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:

2 years

Additional Qualifications:

All candidates must possess an active valid driver's license and good driving record. Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen. Must have the ability to work overtime as required.
