Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to, operating manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. If you have a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Duties Operate flatbeds Safely load and unload freight at designated locations. Follow assigned routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, miles traveled, and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly before departure. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. TWIC Card Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized vehicles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
