Overview North Texas Contracting is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support construction operations throughout North Texas. Drivers will transport equipment, materials, and supplies while representing our company with professionalism and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed and rock trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details as required by DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to promote safety on the road. Requirements Operate flatbeds, rock trailers, and other Class A vehicles safely and efficiently Transport equipment and materials to job sites throughout North Texas Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain DOT-compliant logs and documentation Secure loads and ensure safe delivery of cargo Communicate effectively with dispatchers and field crews Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
