driver with experience in hauling equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate different types of vehicles. A commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service is essential. Duties Operate a variety of vehicles and machinery to transport freight. Execute route driving with precision, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary for efficient handling. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Drive manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficiency in various driving conditions. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Strong understanding of route planning and navigation. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to comply with all company policies regarding safety and conduct.
