Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer for regional and/or dedicated routes Transport freight on time while preventing damage and ensuring load security Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and required trip documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Adhere to route plans, schedules, and delivery appointments Handle basic freight responsibilities such as verifying counts and paperwork Promote Hogan's safety-first, customer-focused culture on the road Support a clean, professional image of Hogan equipment and services Required Skills CDL A tractor-trailer operation DOT and FMCSA regulation knowledge Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Freight securement and load management Time management and route planning Defensive driving techniques Trip documentation and paperwork accuracy Communication with dispatch and customers Use of GPS and in-cab technology
